Telemedicine
Neighborhood Family Clinics offers convenient virtual Telemedicine appointments, allowing you to connect with your provider from the comfort of your home or another private location.
Telemedicine visits are a convenient option for many types of care, including:
- Follow-up appointments
- Reviewing laboratory or diagnostic test results
- Discussing treatment plans or medication questions
- Addressing questions that arise after a recent office visit
- Evaluating many minor illnesses and non-emergency medical concerns
If you have received test results and would like to discuss them with your provider, or if you have additional questions following an appointment, scheduling a Telemedicine visit can often be the quickest and most convenient way to receive personalized guidance without returning to the clinic.
Virtual appointments are generally available during normal business hours, Monday through Saturday. If necessary, virtual appointments may be an option outside of these hours on case by case basis.
See below for important additional information:
What is Telemedicine?
Telemedicine is an alternative to coming into the clinic for an appointment. Instead, our health care providers will work with you via phone call and/or the Internet, so that you can receive the assistance you need, right from your home or office.
Do I need any special software to have a Telemedicine appointment?
If you have a computer or tablet or smartphone, we will give you a website to go to, so you can enter your provider’s “waiting room”. So, as long as your computer / tablet / smartphone can go to websites, you should have everything you need.
If you do NOT have a computer, tablet or smartphone, then we can still have an appointment with you by talking over the phone.
Costs:
$42 for established patients. New patients will need to be seen at the clinic.
How to request a Telemedicine appointment:
If you are interested in a Virtual Telemedicine appointment, please call the La Crosse Clinic at (608) 781-9880 and leave a voicemail with your name, date of birth & a phone number where you can be reached. We will call you back to schedule an appointment.
